Susan Melchiore, MD

Dr. Melchiore is a visionary and co-founder of On Site for Seniors. Born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois, she attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine, and geriatric fellowship training at UCLA. Dr. Melchiore moved to Coeur d’ Alene in 1996 to start a private office practice, but after 10 years she decided to “give up the walls” and branch out to a house call program in a faith-based environment, which quickly grew. She continues with strong interests in dementia care, health and aging, and care transitions. Dr. Melchiore enjoys cooking, hiking, dogs and water sports.
